The battleship "Mikasa," which left its mark on history, is now available as a waterline kit!
Completed in March 1902 (Meiji 35), it became the flagship of the Combined Fleet in December of the following year and fought in the Russo-Japanese War under the command of Admiral Togo Heihachiro.
In the Battle of Tsushima, it led Japan to victory with the T-crossing tactic and the Togo Turn.
The kit is based on materials from the 1/350 development, and incorporates the latest research that has come to light since then.
The hull is assembled using a structure that sandwiches the girders.
The deck and flying deck reproduce the camber to improve water drainage.
The armament, ventilation shafts, fighting tops, and other equipment can be selected from those used in the Battle of Tsushima and the Battle of the Yellow Sea.
