■Product Description
The "Atago" is one of the world's largest Aegis destroyers operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
This ship is an enlarged and improved version of the "Kongo" class,
and is equipped with the latest Aegis combat system.
The kit reproduces the latest appearance of the "Atago".
While achieving high-quality reproduction,
it has an easy-to-assemble parts configuration that can be confidently recommended even to those who do not usually build plastic models.
The hull is divided into left and right halves, and the design ensures strength by sandwiching girders (supports).
The deck is divided into three parts, and the central deck has the superstructure (bridge, funnel, helicopter hangar)
made as one piece.
The 5-inch gun, Vulcan Phalanx, and SPG-62 fire control system are movable.
One SH-60K helicopter is included.
