■Product Description
The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an improved successor to the F/A-18C/D Hornet.
The fuselage was extended by 86 cm and additional fuel tanks were installed to increase the range.
Furthermore, fuel is also loaded into the vertical stabilizer.
This weight increase is compensated for by an engine with increased thrust, and the air intake was also enlarged along with the engine change.
The angular parallelogram shape of the intake is one of the features of this aircraft.
The airframe structure was significantly changed, with the wings extended and the wing area increased to increase lift, but other than that, only some electronics and power supply systems were updated, and as much commonality as possible with the F/A-18C/D was attempted.
The kit includes four external fuel tanks, two AIM-9X missiles, two AMRAAM missiles, and a target pod as accessories for the underside of the wings.
