■Product Description
The Lockheed F-104 is an aircraft developed as a supersonic air superiority fighter.
With its small and lightweight airframe and high-thrust engine,
the F-104, which could reach a maximum speed of Mach 2, was said to be the last manned fighter at the time.
However, the policy of the US Air Force changed afterward,
and because the F-104 was small and could not be equipped with data links, etc., only a small number were deployed.
However, the West German Air Force took notice of the F-104's high performance and adopted the G model, and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force adopted the J model.
In addition, the Italian Air Force adopted the S model, NATO countries also introduced the F-104,
and the Canadian Air Force also adopted it as the CF-104.
There is also a two-seat training version of the F-104.
