[A distinguished battleship that bore the glory of the British Navy]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the British battleship HMS Rodney, completed in 1927, which played an active role in supporting operations such as the Battle of Malta, the North African landings, and the Normandy landings during World War II, and which gained particular fame in the pursuit of the German battleship Bismarck in 1941. The kit realistically reproduces the innovative style not seen in conventional battleships, in which three triple 40.6cm guns were concentrated at the front of the hull to enhance its defensive capabilities. The aft bridge, smokestack, and mast are also finished with a three-dimensional feel. It would also be interesting to display it alongside the HMS King George V, which worked together to concentrate fire on the Bismarck.
