This is a plastic model assembly kit of small warships that continued to support the Combined Fleet behind the scenes during the Pacific War. The set includes one Type 19 minesweeper that swept mines in shipping lanes and anchorages, one Type 13 submarine chaser that engaged in anti-submarine attacks, and one Hirashima-class minelayer that worked to lay mines and anti-submarine nets. Each ship has a delicate finish, including the main guns, machine guns, and masts. It will be fun to create dioramas by combining them with capital ships.
