[Special Type Destroyer that Fought Fiercely in the Pacific]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the destroyer Shikinami, which participated in the Guadalcanal reinforcement operation 10 times, and also sortied in the Battle of Batavia, the Battle of Midway, the Third Battle of the Solomon Islands, and continued to fight fiercely in the Pacific until it was sunk by a torpedo attack from a US submarine in September 1944.Shikinami, which appeared as the second ship of the Type II Special Type Destroyer, known as an innovative destroyer, is reproduced in the style after its anti-aircraft armament was strengthened.The details such as the smokestack, searchlight, and antenna are also sharply finished.It would also be interesting to use parts from its sister ship Ayanami to modify it to look like it did when it was completed in 1929.
