This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Fubuki, the first ship of the Imperial Japanese Navy's Special Type destroyers, which was completed in 1928 as part of the pursuit of the idea of fleet destroyers that would participate in naval battles as the arms and legs of the main fleet. The kit faithfully reproduces the innovative style that overturned the conventional concept of destroyers, including the large hull, high freeboard, powerful 12.7cm twin main guns housed in turrets, and dynamic smokestacks. The torpedo tubes and searchlights are also delicately finished.
