■Product Description
[Realistic Reproduction, the Presence of a Taisho-era Ship]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Tama, the second ship of the Kuma-class light cruisers, completed in 1921. During the Pacific War, from 1942 to 1943, it participated in the Kiska Island invasion operation and the Battle of Attu in the Aleutian Islands, and disappeared off the coast of the Philippines in 1944 after being torpedoed by an enemy submarine. The model reproduces the appearance of the ship at the end of 1942, around the time of the Kiska Island invasion operation. The three upright smokestacks, simple bridge, aircraft carriers, and catapults are all precisely finished. The white and dark gray camouflage paint scheme, which matches the natural environment of the Aleutian Islands, gives it a finish that is a little different from other Japanese ships.
