■Product Description
Developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy during the Pacific War as an air defense fighter for land bases. Deployment to units began in September 1944, and this is a plastic model assembly kit of the Raiden Type 21, which fought valiantly against B-29s, utilizing its heavy armament. The kit realistically models the Raiden's unique style, unlike other Japanese aircraft, including its thick fuselage with a large-diameter engine. The main landing gear and tail wheel can be assembled in either flight or landing configuration. The kit includes drop tanks, two pilot figures, and three types of waterslide decals, including one for an aircraft belonging to the 302nd Air Group, which played an active role in the air defense of mainland Japan.
