■Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) personnel deployed to Iraq, which can be easily combined with the Light Armored Vehicle, the latest equipment of the JGSDF, to create a small diorama. The model realistically depicts the rugged appearance of the soldiers wearing bulletproof vests with different specifications from those used in Japan. The set includes five figures in total: two leaders pointing to a distant location and reporting the situation, one commander receiving the report, two soldiers guarding the area with Type 89 5.56mm rifles, and a machine gunner standing on the turret on the roof of the Light Armored Vehicle (sold separately). Decals are provided for the national insignia on the camouflage uniforms. Accessories include a Type 89 5.56mm rifle and magazine pouch, a small microphone and receiver, binoculars, and 110mm personal anti-tank rounds.
《About the clothing》
In Iraq, the troops wore the same camouflage uniforms as in Japan to be identifiable as Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force personnel, and wore bulletproof vests with enhanced ballistic protection over them. The equipment is attached directly to the webbing of the bulletproof vest, and the Japanese flag is affixed in a highly visible location.
