The M4A3 Sherman 105mm howitzer variant, developed for infantry support, joins the MM series. Combine it with three infantry figures in combat to easily enjoy dioramas. The thick and powerful 105mm howitzer and the turret with its gun shield are realistically reproduced with cast textures. The three dynamic figures and the half-figure of the tank commander gazing into the distance create a sense of tension in battle. You can also enjoy creating dioramas by combining it with the wide range of American military vehicles, including the M4A3 Sherman 75mm gun variant already on sale.
[M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer [About the variants]
The M4 Sherman tank was a representative tank of the Allied forces during World War II. Among its many variations, the M4A3 Sherman with a 105mm howitzer was primarily tasked with providing fire support to infantry units, such as attacking fortified positions. Equipped with a Ford V8 gasoline engine, the M4A3 later model chassis, which had enhanced armor protection with a single-plate front hull, was mounted with a large-angle M4 105mm howitzer. In addition to high-explosive shells, it could fire various types of ammunition, including smoke incendiary rounds and anti-tank high-explosive rounds, and was deployed not only for support attacks utilizing its mobility but also for anti-tank combat, demonstrating its power on a wide range of fronts, including Italy and Northwestern Europe.
