■Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Type 11 land attack aircraft, which, at the beginning of the Pacific War, attacked the British state-of-the-art battleship HMS Prince of Wales and the cruiser HMS Repulse off the coast of Malaya, achieving the first-ever naval victory in history by sinking a battleship while it was underway using only aircraft. The model faithfully reproduces the aircraft's voluminous style, including the thick fuselage that accommodates large torpedoes. The interior of the aircraft, including the instrument panel, bomb sight, and bulkheads, is also finished with a high level of detail. The flaps can be installed in the down position, and the upper cockpit canopy of the pilot, the upper gunner's cockpit, and the engine cowl flaps can be selected to be open or closed. The bomb bay can also be selected to be in the bomb load, torpedo load, or reconnaissance flight configuration. One Type 91 torpedo, twelve 60kg bombs, and three crew figures are also included. Six marking options are available.
