■Product Description
[The evolution of the strongest tank is also conveyed]
The German heavy tank that struck fear into the hearts of the Allied forces during World War II with its powerful destructive force and high defensive capabilities was the Tiger I. Equipped with strong armor up to 100mm thick, its 56-caliber 88mm gun, which could penetrate 100mm of armor plate from a distance of 2000m, was capable of destroying most Allied tanks. In defensive battles, it was said that one tank could rival five Sherman tanks in combat power. Production began in July 1942, and from July of the following year, it transitioned to a type that incorporated improvements based on lessons learned from the war, such as the installation of a new cupola with a periscope. These are generally called mid-production models, and approximately 470 units were produced by January 1944. They fought on every front in Europe.
