■Product Description
The US Navy's Corsair, equipped with a powerful 2000-horsepower engine, a huge propeller, and inverted gull wings, flew on the front lines from World War II to the Korean War. Among them, the F4U-1A, which appeared in the summer of 1943 after the F4U-1, was flown by many Marines and Navy aces and engaged in fierce battles with Japanese aircraft in the Solomon Islands and elsewhere. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the F4U-1A. The model accurately captures the characteristics of the F4U-1A, such as the raised cockpit, long tail wheel strut, and two-frame canopy. The unique inverted gull wings can also be assembled in a folded state. The fuselage can be fitted with either a 1000-pound bomb or an auxiliary fuel tank. Two pilot figures, one seated and one standing, and two types of waterslide decals are included.
