■Product Description
[A powerful reproduction of the US Navy's symbol, Big E]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Enterprise, the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, known by its nickname Big E, which was completed in 1961. The model depicts the ship after the refit carried out from 1979 to 1982. The voluminous hull is divided into two parts to faithfully reproduce the subtle lines. Three metal frames are used inside, and the huge sponsons that extend from both sides are molded as one piece, ensuring sufficient strength. The bridge structure, composed of approximately 100 parts, also features a sharp finish, including the radar. The set also includes a towing tractor, a mobile crane, 40 aircraft in total (8 each of 5 types including the F-18A Hornet), a display stand, and a ship nameplate.
