■Product Description
[Attractive for its well-proportioned style]
The Type 32 Zero Fighter, an improved version of the Type 21, featured a replacement of the engine with the Sakae 21 and shortened, angular wingtips. However, insufficient range became a problem, so the Type 22 was developed to address this. The wingspan was restored to 12m, and the fuel tanks were increased to significantly improve the range. The Type 22A, with longer-barreled wing machine guns, was also produced. Deployment began in early 1943, and it played an active role in the Solomon Islands theater as the Allied counteroffensive intensified.

This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Zero Fighter Type 22. ●1/72 scale, overall length 126mm, overall wingspan 167mm. ●The well-proportioned style, including the flowing wings and refined engine cowling, is faithfully modeled with easy-to-assemble parts. ●You can also choose the Type 22A with long-barreled wing machine guns. ●The cockpit interior and landing gear bays are also finished with a sense of three-dimensionality. ●Two types of canopy parts are provided for open and closed positions. ●Two types of markings are included.
