■Product Description
The Corsair was a US Navy carrier-based fighter aircraft that continued to fly on the front lines from the Pacific War to the Korean War. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the F4U-1D, a representative type of the Corsair that appeared at the end of 1944. Not only is the Corsair's distinctive, fierce style, such as the large-diameter propeller and inverted gull wings, but the F4U-1D's features, such as the frameless teardrop canopy and long tail wheel struts, are also faithfully modeled. Two types of canopies, 8 rockets and 2 175-gallon drop tanks, and 3 types of markings are included. The wings that dominated the skies of the Pacific, fully demonstrating speed, power, and powerful attack capabilities, are brought back to life.
