■Product Description
[The charm of a compact self-propelled gun condensed into 1/35 scale]
The SU-76 was a self-propelled gun developed by the Soviet army, based on the T-70 light tank, after the Soviet army focused on the performance of various German self-propelled guns during the German-Soviet war of World War II. Equipped with the 76.2mm ZIS-3Sh assault gun, which was a field gun mounted on a vehicle, it was capable of a wide range of missions, from fire support to anti-tank warfare. More than 11,000 units of the improved SU-76M, which revised the layout of the engine and drive system, were mass-produced between 1943 and 1945. Small, lightweight, and with high mobility, the SU-76M was able to operate in closer cooperation with infantry units than tanks and greatly contributed to the Soviet victory.
