■Product Description
[Essential for creating Vietnam War dioramas]
The M151 of the US military appeared in 1959 as the successor to the Jeep, which played an active role during World War II. It was characterized by its advanced mechanisms as a next-generation military vehicle, such as a lightweight semi-monocoque body and a four-wheel independent suspension system with coil springs. In 1964, the improved M151A1, which featured a modified rear suspension and the addition of turn signal lamps on the front fenders, began production. It was first deployed in combat during the Vietnam War in the 1960s and was used as transportation for soldiers on the harsh battlefield throughout its entire lifespan.
