[The strongest Sherman honed by Israel]
The M51, which appeared in 1962, was the core of Israel's armored forces, following the M1 and M50 Sherman. Most were based on the M4A1 Sherman with a cast hull, and were equipped with a cast turret and a long-barreled 105mm gun. The rear of the turret was extended to accommodate the large main gun. The engine was replaced with a 460 horsepower diesel engine, and it exhibited excellent mobility thanks to HVSS (Hypervolute Spring Suspension) and wide tracks. It made its debut in the Six-Day War in 1967, overwhelming the Egyptian armored forces with its tremendous firepower. The M51, which boasted the strongest among the many M4 Sherman variants, has etched its name in history as the culmination of the Sherman tank.

Based on meticulous research of the actual vehicle in Israel, the powerful appearance is modeled in its entirety. ●The cast upper hull and the cast turret with an extended rear section realistically reproduce the complex form. ●The HVSS undercarriage also has sufficient three-dimensionality with a small number of parts. ●The tracks reproduce the wide T80 type. They are made of parts in an easy-to-assemble and realistic belt type. ●Includes two half-figures of a commander and loader, and three types of decals including the Third Arab-Israeli War.
