[The Indomitable Fighting Spirit Shown by Finland in Northern Europe]
In the final stages of the war between Finland and the Soviet Union in World War II, the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G, imported from Germany, became the mainstay of the Finnish army. It featured a low-slung chassis and a powerful long-barreled 7.5cm gun for anti-tank warfare. After arriving in Finland, modifications were made, such as removing the Schurzen (side skirts), adding storage boxes to the engine deck, and replacing the machine gun with a Soviet-made DT. It then repelled the Soviet tank offensive in the summer of 1944 and successfully defended Finland. Afterwards, based on lessons learned from the war, logs and concrete blocks were added to the fighting compartment to strengthen its defenses. It continued to be used until the 1960s, undergoing further modifications after the war.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G. ●Total length 189mm, total width 85mm. A realistic model of the vehicle modified by the Finnish Army. ●You can choose between the early modified version, which has a storage box added to the rear of the hull and the spare road wheels moved to the side of the fighting compartment, and the later modified version, which has logs and concrete blocks added to increase its defensive capabilities. ●The DT machine gun on top of the fighting compartment is also sharply finished. ●Includes a half-figure of the commander and four types of decals for Finnish Army vehicles.
