The Sd.Kfz.222 is a German four-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle used for reconnaissance on a wide range of fronts during World War II. It is equipped with a 2cm gun in an open-top rotating turret with a mesh cover to protect against hand grenades. A 90-horsepower liquid-cooled gasoline engine is mounted at the rear, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h on roads and 40 km/h off-road. It was also deployed to the German Africa Corps under the renowned Field Marshal Rommel, and was frequently deployed not only for reconnaissance but also for attack missions, taking advantage of its speed. The DKWNZ350 is a medium-sized military motorcycle equipped with an 11-horsepower single-cylinder two-stroke engine, and was also used for liaison and other purposes on the North African front.
