■Product Description
[Enjoy a more in-depth expression]
In the latter half of World War II, under the harsh war conditions in which the firepower and defensive capabilities of Allied tanks were greatly strengthened, self-propelled guns, which mounted large-caliber main guns in a fixed position on the tank chassis, became an important anti-tank weapon for the German army. Among them, the Hetzer inherited the basic components of the Czech-made 38(t) tank and mounted a long-barreled 48-caliber 7.5cm gun in a fixed fighting compartment with 60mm of frontal armor. Deployment to units began in July 1944, and it proved effective in ambush attacks utilizing its low silhouette, becoming a formidable enemy for the Allied forces advancing on Germany from the east and west. The Hetzer recorded a production number of approximately 2,800 units while making improvements to various parts, and was also used by the Czech and Swiss armies after the war.
