■Product Description
[Britain's only mass-produced flamethrower tank]
The Churchill was a representative infantry tank of the British Army during World War II. Many improved versions were produced, but the Mk.VII, which appeared at the end of 1943, was equipped with a 75mm gun as its main armament. The armor on various parts was also strengthened, and it played a major role in the European counteroffensive after the Normandy landings. In addition, various support vehicles and special vehicles were developed based on the Churchill, but the most famous among them is the Churchill Mk.VII Crocodile flamethrower tank. Based on the Mk.VII, the forward machine gun was replaced with a flamethrower nozzle, and it towed an armored trailer carrying fuel and other supplies. The powerful flamethrower, which could reach over 80m, proved to be extremely effective in supporting infantry units.
