[The main character of the Blitzkrieg, in palm size]
The Panzer II A-C type supported the German army's rapid advance in the Blitzkrieg operations at the beginning of World War II. With a compact body of 4.8m in length and 2.2m in width, it was equipped with a 140 horsepower gasoline engine and exhibited sufficient mobility with a maximum speed of 40km/h. It was a light tank equipped with a 2cm tank gun and one 7.92mm machine gun, and with armor thickness of 15mm on the hull and turret front, but in the campaigns against Poland and France it compensated for the shortage of Panzer III tanks and fought valiantly as the main force of the tank units. In particular, in the campaign against France, many vehicles were fitted with additional armor on the hull, fighting compartment and turret front.
