■Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the I-16, the first ship of the Type C submarines which emphasized offensive capabilities, and the I-58, one of the Type B submarines built with reconnaissance as its main mission, both of which were among the large I-class submarines that the Imperial Japanese Navy was proud of. The I-16 is modeled in the state in which it was equipped with a special submersible during the attack on Pearl Harbor, while the I-58, which would sink the US Navy heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis near the end of the war, is reproduced in its appearance when it was newly built. Both ships have delicate details such as periscopes and guns.
