The 300SL is a luxury sports car from Mercedes-Benz that captivated celebrities around the world with its elegant style and high performance, and was the world's first mass-produced car to adopt gullwing doors. It was equipped with a 3-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with in-cylinder fuel injection boasting 215 horsepower, and a multi-tubular frame which was the most advanced racing technology at the time.
