[A masterpiece fighter that shared the fate of the Imperial Japanese Navy] The Zero fighter continued to fight as the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy from its first battle on the Chinese front until the end of the war. Among them, the Type 21 was the first full-fledged mass-produced model and was mainly deployed to the carrier task force. It was improved to have foldable wingtips to make it easier to handle on aircraft carriers, and was equipped with a landing hook and a Kursi radio homing direction finder. Piloted by skilled crews, the Type 21 defeated Allied fighters in the early stages of the Pacific War, such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Philippine campaign, by utilizing its range of over 3,000 km, astonishing dogfighting ability, and heavy armament of 20 mm machine guns.

From the uniquely curved cowling to the flowing lines of each part of the aircraft, it is modeled with a high degree of realism. ★The cockpit and landing gear bays are also finished with a three-dimensional feel. ★The canopy can be assembled in either the open or closed position. ★The landing gear can be assembled in either the flight or landing position. ★Includes two crew figures, one seated and one standing, and five types of markings, including Saburo Sakai's aircraft and the Pearl Harbor attack force.
