■Product Description
[Realistically recreated "Tiger of North Africa," with unique equipment that is also fascinating] The German Tiger I is said to be one of the strongest tanks of World War II. Among its variations, the very early model was sent to Tunisia at the end of 1942 as reinforcements for the Africa Corps led by General Rommel, and was the first to appear before the Allied forces. It is characterized by pistol ports on both sides, a turret with a uniquely shaped storage box, a bent front fender, and a somewhat angular exhaust pipe cover. Its powerful 88mm gun was able to destroy the Allied main battle tank Sherman from a distance of more than 2000m.
[Model Specifications] ★1/35 scale, overall length 240mm, overall width 106mm. ★Realistically reproduces the features of the very early model, such as the bent front fender, pistol ports and slits on both sides of the turret, and the somewhat angular exhaust pipe cover. ★Can be assembled as a version with the headlights moved to the front of the hull, and mounting brackets for the lights are included. ★The front hull armor plate features a separate driver's armor visor for a highly detailed finish. ★The air cleaner hose is reproduced with a mesh-patterned vinyl pipe. ★The decals include four types of vehicles belonging to the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion in the North African campaign. ★Includes one tank crew figure in tropical uniform.
