The Ninja H2R, Kawasaki's closed-course exclusive model, which made its debut at the 2014 Cologne Show, featured a remote supercharger equipped with a newly developed 998cc water-cooled parallel four-cylinder engine to deliver "an acceleration that no one has ever experienced". The superbike combined Kawasaki Heavy Industries' technology, including the latest devices such as exhaust volumes, 998cc water-cooled parallel four-cylinder engines. The 300 hp superbike featured a steel tube trail frame with four carbon wings mounted on the top of the cowling and sidewings to ensure high-speed driving stability. In addition, it incorporated traction control, engine brake control, and quick-shifter, among others. It also achieved the world record for a top speed of 400 km/h on the market in July 2016.
