■Product Description
[A remarkable motorcycle that incorporated GP machine mechanics into a production vehicle] Debuting at the 1983 Tokyo Motor Show, this plastic model assembly kit reproduces the RZV500R, a motorcycle that attracted attention for having the same mechanics as Yamaha's GP racer YZR500, a water-cooled 2-stroke V-type 4-cylinder 500cc engine. The large fairing and tank, which exude a racing mood, and the subtle lines of the single-seat cowl are just like the real thing. The remarkable water-cooled 2-stroke V-type 4-cylinder engine, as well as high-tech mechanisms such as the carburetor and radiator, are precisely reproduced. The rear link-type Monocross suspension uses metal coil springs for a realistic feel. In addition, wiring and piping such as ignition cords and radiator hoses are represented with vinyl pipes.
