[A fast tank carrying on British tradition]
In the later stages of World War II, the Cromwell cruiser tank became a mainstay of the British armored forces, alongside the Churchill infantry tank. Equipped with Christie suspension, large-diameter road wheels, and a 600-horsepower Meteor engine, it achieved a high speed of 65 km/h. In particular, the Mk.IV was equipped with a powerful 75mm gun as its main armament, replacing the previous 6-pounder gun. It saw combat for the first time in the Normandy landings in June 1944, and its high speed greatly contributed to the Allied victory.

This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Cromwell Mk.IV, which played a key role in the British armored forces on the Northwest European front after the Normandy landings. ●The kit realistically models the distinctive features of the Cromwell Mk.IV, with a total length of 140mm, a turret composed of large rivets and vertical armor plates, and large-diameter road wheels. ●The turret armor plates are reproduced as separate parts, just like the actual vehicle. ●External equipment is a combination of separate parts and integrated molding, achieving both three-dimensionality and ease of assembly. ●A heavy-duty die-cast chassis is used. ●The tracks are link-and-length assembly type with the straight sections as one piece. The suspension is also realistically finished, including the sag at the top. ●A Normandy cowl to prevent exhaust fumes from entering the vehicle is included as an accessory. ●Three types of markings are included.
