■Product Description
[About the Panther G]
The Panther V tank was developed by Germany with all its resources to counter the Soviet T-34, and was introduced in 1943. It featured a chassis with excellent protection thanks to its sloped armor and was equipped with a Maybach HL230P30 4-stroke V-12 engine producing 700 horsepower. It was equipped with a long-barreled 70-caliber 7.5cm gun KwK42 as its main armament, which had penetration power comparable to the Tiger I's 56-caliber 8.8cm gun. Among them, the G model, considered the culmination of the development, was an improvement over the previous D and A models and went into mass production from March 1944. It began production and continued to fight until the end of the war as the main battle tank of the German army at the end of World War II.
【Improvements to the Panther G Model】
From the latter half of 1944, the Panther tank was also improved based on lessons learned from combat. The gun shield was given a chin to prevent shells that hit the lower part of the main gun shield from ricocheting and hitting the upper part of the hull, the exhaust pipe had a flame suppressor to prevent exhaust flames when driving at night, and an interior heater unit for winter was installed on top of the engine grille, further increasing its completeness as a main battle tank.

This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Panther G. ★With a total length of 190mm, it realistically models the formidable appearance of the tank said to be the best of World War II, and you can choose to assemble either the early or late specification. ★Two types of gun shields are included: with and without a chin. ★The muffler reproduces the one with a flame suppressor, and you can also choose the standard type. ★An interior heater unit for the engine grille is also included. ★The link-type tracks, with the straight sections made as one piece, enhance the precision of the undercarriage. ★Four types of decals are included.
