The "Slide Mechanism Joint" is now available from Kotobukiya's "MSG" plastic unit.
It consists of a polycap and an axle rod with a catch to prevent it from coming off, and by using them in combination, you can easily create a structure that slides out. This product can be used in many ways, such as for the drawer structure of the wrists and joints of robots and characters.
Two types of polycaps are available, square and round, which serve as the rail part of the slide mechanism. The inner diameter of the polycaps is 3mm for both the square and round types, and they can be combined with commercially available plastic materials.
