Registered name of the unit: "Bulkarm Grants"
This unit, classified as "2.5th generation," was independently developed by Maxwell Gears, a third party, rather than MSG, the developer of the Bulkarm series.
Without considering its role as a weapon, and based on the concept of "pursuing the limits of humanoid heavy machinery," which was the benchmark for the second generation, this unit reflects the designer's ideal vision. It incorporates many ambitious technologies, and only a small number were manufactured, including spare units, with some being deployed in actual combat.
A notable design feature is that it achieves high mobility and maneuverability despite being bipedal by sacrificing defensive capabilities for weight reduction and incorporating "assist wheels" to improve mobility. However, this can also be seen as leading to a conclusion in unit construction that "mobility is secured not by walking, but by other means such as wheels," and in a sense, it is said to have contributed to the end of the second generation. However, the "System Convert" feature, first adopted in this unit, became a standard feature on many units in the third-generation "Zoatex Hexa Gear," making it a significant achievement in the history of Hexa Gear development.
In addition, as a new technology, it experimentally introduced the Brain Machine Interface, commonly known as "BMI," which was under development by "BMI Gramsight." Although some challenges remain, it achieved high-precision control of the working limbs (manipulators) and gained more human-like movements, such as freely handling various external devices regardless of connection standards. The standard armament consists only of a rifle and a built-in small laser cutter, which is by no means high firepower, but Hexa Gear is not meant to be self-contained. Just like humans, its characteristics change greatly depending on the wide range of external devices it is equipped with.
As an aside, the designer has stated that he is a classic comic book enthusiast, and the exterior design reflects that hobby to a great extent, so the unit that conducted the test operation submitted a report stating that "the design is excessively hobby-oriented and unsuitable for combat."
However, the "Steel Giant," which wields firearms like Governors as well as primitive swords and races across the battlefield at high speed, has left a strong impression on people's memories and has created many investors and Governors who yearn for humanoid heavy machinery. The number of replicas, imitations, and modified models left around the world tells the story of the result.

■The assist wheels' tire sections are made of PVC molding for a realistic look, and the frame has an extendable function, allowing you to adjust the distance to the ground to match the posing.
■The rifle's magazine is removable, and the magazine itself has ammunition details.
■The entire body's Hexagram System allows you to freely combine it with Hexa Gear already on sale to create mechs with various silhouettes.
■The retractable headlights stored in the shins of the machine can be deployed in vehicle mode.
■The taillights at the rear of the machine are color-coded in clear orange and clear red.
