The stylish and cute robot "TAMOTU" is now available as a color variation kit with even greater expandability!
The world of "MARUTTOYS," an original robot created by up-and-coming sculptor MiZ (Koki Mizuno).
"TAMOTU," an artist collaboration item between Kotobukiya and MARUTTOYS, is now available in two colorful colors with newly added optional parts!
【Setting】
The year is 2064. "TAMOTU" is the latest maintenance robot released by the advanced company "ATARASY."
Developed to maintain the urban environment, "TAMOTU" is equipped with various options on its hardpoints and arms, achieving high versatility to handle a variety of tasks, from material transport to infrastructure maintenance and cleaning. Normally, it moves freely on wheels similar to casters, but when working or overcoming obstacles, it transforms into "work mode" with its legs and arms extended.
"TAMOTU," which can be mass-produced, excels at working in groups like ants and bees, and the processing of its tasks is efficiently managed by cloud AI.
"TAMOTU" comes in many color variations. The "Sky Blue Ver." is a custom color created to match the image color of the hotel in the "ATARASY" headquarters building, which overlooks the blue sky and sea. It later became popular and was produced as a general distribution color.
[How to enjoy]
- By using the 3mm diameter joints (holes) all over the body, the 3mm diameter joints (axles) of optional parts, and "double arm compatible parts," you can freely customize "TAMOTU" by using parts from "MSG," "Frame Arms," "Frame Arms Girl," "Hexa Gear," etc.
・Without being limited to the 1/12 scale of the setting, you can share the worldview with non-scale "Frame Arms Girl" and 1/24 scale "Hexa Gear" and enjoy combining them.

・The main body completely reproduces the internal frame. All exterior parts of the main body can be removed.
・Can transform from "Normal Mode" for running to "Work Mode" for walking and working.
・Equipped with 3mm diameter joints (holes) in 13 places throughout the body.
・The kit is molded in three colors: "sky blue," "gray," and "clear." You can reproduce a color scheme close to the original design just by assembling it as is. (The exterior molding colors are different from the "TAMOTU [Orange Ver.]" released at the same time.)
・"Double arm compatible parts" that bring further expandability to "TAMOTU" are included as newly molded parts.
・The 3mm diameter joint (hole) on the bottom of the main body is compatible with the separately sold "New Flying Base."
