This time, the Japanese Navy gunboat "Seta" makes a reappearance!
The "Seta-class gunboat" was a river gunboat built by the Japanese Navy for the purpose of river patrol and protection of interests on the Chinese mainland. Four ships (Seta, Hira, Hozu, and Katada) were commissioned in the 1920s and mainly operated in the Yangtze River basin. Taking advantage of their shallow draft and small hull, they navigated rivers and engaged in support missions. Towards the end of World War II, they were aging and some were lost or seized by local forces after continuing to operate in the Chinese area. This kit is designed so that you can choose to build two Seta-class gunboats and is easy to assemble and accurately reproduced.
