In the early 1980s, the "Super Silhouette Series" was a race that captivated car enthusiasts. Monster machines that retained the appearance of production cars such as the Skyline and Silvia were adorned with flashy aero parts, and with lightweight bodies of just under 1 ton equipped with turbo engines of 570PS or more, they sped down the straightaways at astonishing speeds.
