The S15 model, the seventh generation Silvia, appeared in January 1999 as a complete model change from the previous S14 model. With the slogan "SPORTS! SILVIA," it strengthened its character as a sports model and pursued a more hardcore driving concept. As a result, the downsized body became a 5-number size again, and the SR20DET with a maximum output of 250PS and the new 6MT continue to have a steady stream of fans for its exhilarating driving performance.
