The Hatsuzuki, the fourth ship of the Akizuki-class destroyers, built as an anti-aircraft destroyer, single-handedly challenged the US Navy's cruiser force in the Battle of Leyte Gulf, is now available as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit. With a parts configuration that focuses on the essentials, it is simple, easy to assemble, and accurately reproduces the ship. Various fittings, such as the "10cm high-angle guns" and ship's boats, which are characteristic of the Akizuki-class destroyers, have been newly designed and added.
