The ill-fated Unryu-class aircraft carrier, the second ship "Amagi," which was built as a regular aircraft carrier but was never used as one due to the worsening war situation, has been made into a 1/700 scale plastic model kit. With a parts configuration that focuses on the essentials, it is simple to assemble and easy to do, and accurately reproduces the ship. Various fittings such as triple machine guns and anti-aircraft guns have been added with new designs. The precision and detail of the 1/700 scale are well expressed. The kit includes aircraft used by the Japanese Navy in the later period.
