Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, one of Italy's leading designers, and engineered by Lotus, the DeLorean DMC-12 is a sports car characterized by its unpainted stainless steel body and gullwing doors. Although only a small number were produced, the DeLorean still has many enthusiastic fans, and it is now revived as a 1/24 scale plastic model kit.
