■Product Description
The Hakosuka GT-R, which etched its glorious record of a phenomenal 49 consecutive wins and a total of 50 wins into history, underwent a full model change in September 1972 to the next-generation C110 series Skyline (Kenmeri).
At the 19th Tokyo Motor Show that same year, the "Skyline Hardtop 2000GT-R Racing Specification" was exhibited.
With its large chin spoiler, wide fenders, and racing colors, everyone had no doubt that it would be a great success on the circuit.
However, the Kenmeri Racing was affected by the oil crisis and exhaust gas regulations, and never appeared on the circuit, leaving its image only in a poster.
The "Unfortunate GT-R" continues to live on in the hearts of many fans, its phantom heroic figure etched into their memories.
This kit is an assembly-type plastic model of the Kenmeri GT-R Racing Specification, reproducing the GT-R Racing poster specification (blue metallic).
Because it uses molds developed in the 1970s, there are some differences in historical accuracy, reproduction, and philosophy compared to the latest modern kits, but it includes Kenmeri Racing-specific overfenders, front mask, and side-exit mufflers, allowing you to create a more realistic GT-R Racing.
