Lost dreams are linked across time! Arcee in anime colors joins the "Missing Link" series, a hypothetical reissue of a toy that might have existed in that era. What if the Arcee that was never released at the time had been commercialized as a fully poseable toy? Imagining this, the toy has been commercialized with a completely new design that retains the size, texture, and nostalgia of the time!
In 1986, product development progressed to the point of a non-transforming styrofoam prototype, but it never ended up being released. What if product development had continued? Based on this hypothetical scenario, the toy has been created to match the size and basic structure using some die-cast alloy of the 1986 toy, with a newly implemented transformation mechanism, articulated joints for posing, and gimmicks depicted in the anime, resulting in the ideal Arcee toy that has finally arrived. The phantom piece that Transformers fans all over the world have been waiting for is finally in place. This product is based on C-07 Arcee (prototype) and reproduces the familiar pink/white color scheme from the anime. The head design is also different from C-07, and is based on a mid-stage preliminary design that was depicted in some episodes of the anime and in overseas comics. While thoroughly pursuing the styling of the time as interpreted from existing materials, each joint is constructed in a modern style, allowing for free posing. A small laser gun used in "2010," which has a different shape from C-07, is included as a reproduction from an anime scene and can be attached to the rear of the vehicle in vehicle mode. The robot body also has the familiar "secret emblem" attached, and the legion mark will appear when warmed with your finger. Foil stickers inspired by the design of the time are also included. The back is equipped with a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing you to display it in action poses. The package illustration is newly drawn to evoke the style of the time, and a collection card featuring the same illustration is also included. From the packaging to the styrofoam tray, every detail is a thorough homage to the original, bringing back the excitement of opening a Transformers product back in the 80s.
