■Product Description
The T-55 is a first-generation post-war medium tank developed in the Soviet Union. The T-55 is an improved version of the T-54, featuring a standard NBC (nuclear, biological, and chemical) defense system, increased engine horsepower, and the addition of servo mechanisms. It also boasts increased firepower, with the main gun's ammunition capacity increased from 34 rounds on the T-54 to 43 rounds. The T-55A is a variant that eliminated the 7.62mm fixed machine gun on the right side of the driver's seat and added radiation-resistant covers to the cupola and hatch. It was officially adopted in 1962. The T-55A is classified into two types: an early model produced until 1969 and a later model produced from the 1970s onward. The later model was re-equipped with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun for anti-helicopter use, which had been previously discontinued.
