■Product Description
The Sherman Firefly is a British tank that mounted a domestically produced 17-pounder anti-tank gun on an American M4 Sherman chassis. When replacing the M4's 75mm gun with the 17-pounder gun, an armored box that also served as a counterweight was welded to the rear of the turret and housed the radio equipment. This not only made it possible to mount the 17-pounder anti-tank gun but also corrected the nose-heavy design. The Firefly, which used the M4A4 chassis, was designated VC.
