The Leopard 2A6M is an enhanced mine-resistant version of the A6 with mine-resistant armor plates attached to the bottom of the hull. The A6Ms leased to the Canadian military are equipped with slat armor all around except the front of the hull and turret, and antennas for emitting jamming signals against radio-detonated IEDs.
