■Product Description
This "1/35 Israeli Namel Armored Personnel Carrier" was developed in collaboration with Michael Mas of the Latrun Tank Museum. The details are precisely reproduced.
◎Each hatch can be opened and closed◎This kit can reproduce three types: "Namel Heavy APC Late Model", "Namel Heavy APC Commando Version", and "Namel Heavy APC Trophy Active Protection System".
Finished product: Overall length 259.7mm, overall width 115mm
Developed on March 1, 2008, based on the Merkava Mk.4 chassis, a small number entered service with the Israel Defense Forces from the summer of 2008. The "Namel" is designed with survivability and repairability in mind, employing modular armor, a V-shaped bottom armor pack, and NBC protection. The armament consists of a Samson RCWS equipped with either a Browning M2 heavy machine gun or a Mk19 automatic grenade launcher, and a 7.62mm FN MAG and one 60mm mortar. It has a troop carrying capacity of 12 fully armed infantrymen in addition to the crew.
