■Product Description
The F/A-18E/F is a fighter-attack aircraft (multirole aircraft) developed by Boeing and classified as a 4.5 generation jet fighter.
The E model is a single-seat version, and the F model is a two-seat version.
Following the cancellation of the A-12 (Avenger II) development, the U.S. Navy completely redesigned the existing F/A-18 (AD model) from its basic design to develop the F/A-18E/F.
Design changes were made to improve range and weapons payload capacity, as well as to increase the size of the airframe and improve stealth.
Its nickname was changed to "Super Hornet" to signify that it surpasses the "Hornet".
This kit reproduces the single-seat E model.
Removable pylons and weapons are included, and the mounted weapons can be selected.
The flaps and slats are also reproduced in a movable state, and the main wings can be folded.
